I'm 25 years old my birthdays is May 9, 1986, i like popular culture here are a few  i really enjoy. i like to have  the newest techonolgy like the andriod smart phone the tablets and the social networking so i cant stay in touch with friends and family all over the world. online dating is intresting  and an easy way to get to know someone before you meet them. i also like to listen to all the new artist that come out Adele is one of my favorite one out now.  

 

Android Phones, are very popular you can get one through any provider now almost everyone has them. you can do so much on them from surfing the web to getting app or almost everything you can think of. everyone i know has some kind of android phone i also have an android phone i use it for a GPS, as an MP3 player i use it for the internet and much more.

 

Tablets are a great investment to everyone they can be a little pricey. You can do the same stuff you can do on a PC or a laptop but there more portable and not as heavy the picture quality is much better. the screen is big enough so you can skype with a friend or family. i don't own one but i really want to get one you can use tablets for business meetings, you can buy school books on them.

  

Social Networking, is a very popular way of communication people use it for many different reasons like keeping in contact with a friend who moved out of state or a sibling who wet off to college hundred miles away. i use some of them for every day communication with my friends and family that lives in Phoenix, Colorado, and California and i even use it for school.  

 

Online Dating, people now a days are saying in more and are not so sociable they also aren't so friendly so when you go on a dating site you can chat with some one before you meet them  if you like them then you go meet them. i use a few different online dating sites i think they work pretty good i have met some nice guys and some not so nice guys its not 100% effective i would say you have more like a 50/50 chance. 

   

Adele won 6 awards the major categories, including Record of the Year for “Rolling in the Deep,” Album of the Yea for “21,” Song of the Year for “Rolling in the Deep” , Pop Solo Performance for “Someone Like You,” and Pop Vocal Album for “21″. In other words, this was Adele’s night.

i interviewed my friend Katrina she was 25 in 1997. she worked a lot so she didn't really keep upon popular culture back then but here are a fer things she remembered.

 

James Brown The Godfather of Soul really popular in 1997 he received his Hollywood walk of fame star. Katrina was a big fan of his music she was excited her got his walk of fame star.

 

MADONNA at the Golden Globe Awards where she won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for "Evita." Madonna is an idol she is very popular then and now. Madonna was Katrina's idol she knew all of her songs by heart and went to most of her concerts and has all the movies she ever played in.

 

The Monkees’ UK tour 1997 was the last to feature all four members — Davy, Micky, Pete and the elusive Mike Nesmith. Katrina  knew of the monkees and went to some of their shows but didn't know much about them.

 

1997 David Bowie honoured with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame he is heavily loved and a popular idol. Katrina had the biggest crush on David Bowie she had poster of him all over her wall. she went to all of his shows and memorized all of his songs word for word.

 

Michael Jackson and  wife Debbie Rowe gives birth to their first child, Prince Michael Joseph Jackson, (nicknamed apple head), born February 13, 1997. Michael Jackson is the King of Rock n Roll. Michael Jackson was her all time favorite singer back then she knows everything about him. 

why it is bad to have credit cards

I'm my opinion  when you get  a credit card application in the mail or your bank says you are approved for a credit card. Your like really so you get one and you say I'm not going to go crazy with this because i have to pay it back. and when the bill comes you freak out. your like i cant pay this. so you put the card up so you don't use it. you pay the minimum balance and they just pays the interest so you still have the same balance. hope fully you learn from it the first time.
   what i read in the book. paying with plastic really changes the way people spend their money, altering the calculus of our financial decisions. when you buy something in cash you notice that your wallet is lighter when you use a credit card your wallet doesn't get lighter so you don't feel the down side of spending money.also when using credit cards it actually reduces activity in the insula  a part of the brain that associates with negative feelings.
   what i have learned from using credit cards is once you get one and you make your first purches you have to pay off the purchase before you purches something else or you will get behind.
